Hello! My name is Kaycee Brown and I am a postpartum nurse and a midwifery student. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing at West Chester University and I am currently attending Georgetown University for Midwifery and Women's Health Nurse Practitioner.

I was called to birth work while helping family members and friends transition during the postpartum period after discharge. I was intrigued by their birth experiences and aspired to help families feel supported and autonomous throughout their pregnancies. I became certified as a doula in 2017 and I have been assisting families in both the hospital and home setting ever since! My passion to provide inclusive care is fueled by personal experiences as a WOC and the health disparities that BIPOC and LBGTQ+ families often face in the clinical setting. I believe that holistic, evidence-based care can truly empower and affirm families during their birth and this is why I decided to pursue a career in midwifery.

I am a Philly Native and I currently reside in East Falls, PA with my husband and our two cats (Daisy + Atom). Aside from my professional work, I love reading books, listening to podcasts, plants, spending time with my family, K-beauty routines and learning new languages. I am thrilled to continue combining my passion, education and clinical skills in the home birth setting and I am honored to be invited into your birthing space. I look forward to working with you!
